Creating a blog will allow your content to be syndicated which in turn will increase traffic to your web site as well as build your link popularity through RSS and blog directories. TIPS DAN TRIKS MEMILIH NAMA DOMAIN UNTUK BISNIS ONLINE

Hai sobat blogger, kita jumpa lagi pada pembahasan Tips Memilih Nama Domain. Di sini akan saya khususkan pada pemilihan nama domain untuk bisnis online. Sedangkan untuk cara memilih nama domain secara umum tidak akan saya bahas di sini karena sudah banyak dibahas di beberapa blog tutorial.

Mungkin masih banyak yang belum begitu memperhatikan pentingnya pemberian nama domain dalam sebuah situs/blog, sehingga banyak yang berkesan asal-asalan dalam pemberian nama domain, dan hal ini sangat disayangkan. Apalagi jika bertujuan untuk bisnis online, dimana kita ingin mendapatkan penghasilan dari pembuatan sebuah situs/blog.

Berikut ini akan saya berikan beberapa tips saja tentang bagaimana cara memilih nama domain yang tepat untuk keperluan bisnis online anda. Saya tidak akan membahas sekian banyak cara sebagaimana yang pernah dibahas di beberapa blog tutorial, namun hanya akan saya bahas 3 (tiga) hal pokok yang perlu sobat blogger perhatikan dalam membeli dan memilih nama domain untuk keperluan bisnis online.

1. Nama domain harus memuat keyword yang anda target

Nama domain yang memuat keyword tertarget akan mudah dikenal oleh mesin pencari google, karena keyword ini sudah ada dalam database google. Mengenai bagaimana cara mencari keyword tertarget sudah pernah saya bahas dalam postingan saya sebelumnya, yaitu menggunakan Google AdWords Keyword Tool.

Di sini akan saya berikan contoh, misalkan saja blog kita akan membahas hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan “architecture” sebagai keyword utama. Setelah kita analisa dengan Google AdWord Keyword Tool dengan mengetikkan “architecture” dalam kotak, akan muncul hasil sebagai berikut :

Dari hasil analisa di atas kita telah menemukan beberapa keyword tertarget yang bisa kita jadikan sebagai nama domain. Tentunya sobat blogger masih bertanya..keyword yang mana yg harus kita pilih dari sekian banyak hasil analisa itu? Nah, ikuti tips kedua ini…

2. Pilihlah Nama Domain dengan keyword mahal

Mungkin hal ini yang belum dibahas pada blog tutorial lain yang berkaitan memilih nama domain dengan keyword mahal dalam pandangan google. Hal ini sangat penting, kaitannya apabila kita ingin memasang Google Adsense dalam blog kita. Karena google akan menempatkan iklan-iklan mahal dalam per kliknya apabila nama domain kita mengandung keyword yang mahal.

Langkah-langkah untuk mencari keyword mahal adalah sebagai berikut :

a.   Dari hasil analisa pada langkah-1, klik pada Choose columns to display: lalu pilih Show Estimated Avg. CPC pada menu drop-down.

Kemudian tunggu beberapa saat (agak lama prosesnya)…

maka akan mucul tampilan Estimated Avg. CPC (Cost Per Click) di sebelah kanan tabel keyword.

b.   Scroll ke bawah mouse hingga sampai pada Download all keywords. Pilih/klik .csv (for excel) untuk menyimpan semua hasil analisa keyword tersebut. Simpan file tersebut dengan nama “architecture.csv“.

3. Gunakan Top Level Domain (TLD)

Top Level Domain (TLD) adalah domain berbayar (bukan gratisan lho..) yang berakhiran .com, .us, .net, atau lainnya. Mengapa kita harus menggunakan domain berbayar? Karena di samping hal ini disukai google, juga untuk pemasang iklan (advertiser) ~ mereka lebih menyukai memasang iklan pada domain berbayar. Kalau kita memang mau terjun ke dunia bisnis online, saya sarankan memakai domain berbayar. Yaa.. yang murah sekarang juga banyak, umumnya sekitar Rp 100-300 ribu per tahunnya.

Sebagai contoh, kita ambil TLD nya adalah .com dengan keyword “architectural renderings“, maka nama domain yang bisa kita beli adalah (pilih salah satu) :

* architecturalrenderings.com

* architectural-renderings.com

* architecturalrendering-s.com

* architectural-rendering-s.com

Biasanya untuk nama domain utama (architecturalrenderings.com) sudah ada yang memiliki (kalau tidak percaya silahkan cek di google), maka kita harus memakai nama lain sebagai variasinya dengan tetap mempertahankan keyword “architectural renderings“. Karena ketiga variasi nama di atas oleh google tetap dibaca sebagai “architectural renderings“.

Nah, sobat blogger..capek ya mengikuti penjelasan saya..hehehe..tapi kalau diikuti perlahan-lahan dan seksama..lama-lama juga gampang kok memahami langkah-langkah di atas. OKE?

Sekali lagi, keyword dan nama domain di atas hanya sebagai ILLUSTRASI saja, anda bisa memilih keyword lain sesuai dengan tema situs/blog anda masing-masing.

Bagi sobat blogger yang sudah pernah memiliki blog gratisan (blogspot.com), jika ingin meningkatkan kualitas blog dengan domain berbayar (TLD), jangan lupa langkah-langkah di atas. Ingat, jangan asal-asalan dalam memberikan nama domain, karena akan berpengaruh pada keberhasilan bisnis online anda. Dan untuk bisa menjadi NOMOR SATU di GOOGLE salah satunya adalah dengan domain berbayar (TLD).
